Medical Problems
Your health matters
But sometimes it’s hard to know helpful ways to take care of you when you have medical problems.
Throughout my graduate training and clinical career I have worked with people with chronic medical problems, who have new or longstanding diagnoses, coping with the accompanying uncertainty or shifting goals and priorities, and the worthy work of trying to build a life worth living while navigating these challenges.
I weave acceptance and commitment therapy and compassion-based therapy into my work with folks who are dealing with medical problems. I am also happy to connect with your medical treatment team (with all the right releases in place of course) if that feels like it would improve your care.
